Fokker Techniek is currently looking for an experienced Coordinating Sheet Metal Worker.

Fokker Techniek develops, maintains, repairs, upgrades and delivers high-quality solutions for the latest generation of aircraft.

Fokker Techniek and sister organization Fokker Services has a global presence, with offices in Europe, Asia and America.

In this position you are responsible for carrying out and coordinating sheet metal work on aircraft. In addition, you provide operational management to (All-round) Sheet Metal Workers, including hired staff. You also actively participate in sheet metal inspections, repairs, overhauls and modifications on the aircraft.

In your day to day work, you will:

•Coordinate activities with other departments for the undisturbed progress of the work;

•Actively participate within work consultations and contribute to the approach and implementation of the work;

•Be responsible for training and guiding less experienced sheet metal workers hired staff;

•Actively be involved in ensuring good working conditions when it comes to safety, for yourself and for your colleagues;

•Efficiently solve problems and complaints;

•Report to the Production Lead AMRO and hierarchically report to the Sheet Metal Team Leader.

•Completed aviation technical training in accordance with current EASA legislation and an EASA AML B1.1 License;

•Mandatory trainings, such as Structural Repair Manual training, Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS, etc.;

•At least five years of demonstrable work experience related to aircraft sheet metal;

•Good English and great communication and leadership skills.

•Salary op to 3900 EUR/month;
