As a Material/Test Technician at Element, you play a crucial role in conducting various investigations and tests. You work with state-of-the-art equipment for mechanical testing, chemical analyses, and microscopic research. From testing offshore wind turbine components to analyzing aircraft materials, your expertise directly contributes to the safety and efficiency of products used daily by millions of people.

Your main tasks are:Conducting tests for coating qualifications, such as mechanical, adhesion, and aging tests

• Performing mechanical investigations, hardness measurements, and chemical analyses
• Preparing samples for metallographic and microscopic research
• Mechanically processing material samples
• Identifying deviations and consulting with Engineers or supervisors
• Reporting measurement data and recording test results

You are a technical talent with a passion for precision and innovation. As a true technician, you find it fascinating to delve into the smallest details of test results. You combine your technical knowledge with sharp analytical skills, enabling you to carefully evaluate and make honest decisions. Your curiosity drives you to dive deeper into the results, thoroughly analyze the values, and understand the meaning behind the numbers.

We are looking for someone with:

• A completed MBO4/Vocational/ Technical education in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering or Technical Engineering
• Some work experience, but recent graduates are also welcome
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English
• A strong affinity for technology and the willingness to further develop in this area
• A careful and honest work attitude
• A curious mind that likes to delve deep into analyzing results
• The ability to critically evaluate and draw well-considered conclusions
