PLC Engineer

As a PLC Commissioning Engineer at Viscon Group, you will work on technical solutions within the Agro & Food sector, but also the Hatchery sector. You will be responsible for modifying and testing PLC programs and commissioning our machine lines at customer locations. You will serve as the technical point of contact, providing support both on-site and remotely when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Modify and test PLC programs.
• Commission machine lines at customer sites worldwide.
• Provide technical support, both on-site and remotely.
• Collaborate with colleagues for optimal PLC programming.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site.
• Maintain customer relationships as a technical contact.
• Travel to customer locations, both nationally and internationally.

You are an independent PLC Commissioning Engineer with a completed MBO or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics. You have experience in machine building and knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal. You are fluent in both Dutch and English and are willing to travel internationally.

Your Profile:

• You have experience in using and working with Structured Text
• Completed MBO or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Experience in PLC programming.
• Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal is required.
• Knowledge of Mitsubishi GX-Works/GT-Designer is a plus.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel for work.
• Solution-oriented and customer-focused.
