Project Engineer | Routing and Arrangements Q2

For Feadship, we are looking for talented and passionate Engineers to strengthen their Special Engineering/Exterior (EXT) team. As an Engineer, you will be jointly responsible for the coordinated, high-quality, and timely development of the final design of our prestigious Feadship yachts.

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for luxury yacht building? For one of our prestigious clients – a leader in the Dutch yachtbuilding industry – we are looking for a skilled Project Engineer with a focus on Routing & Arrangements. In this role, you will lead a discipline-specific engineering team, take ownership of technical design and execution, and ensure optimal collaboration with various stakeholders.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and coordination of technical systems within high-end superyachts. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading the engineering scope within your discipline (Routing & Arrangements);
• Managing quality, budget, and planning of engineering deliverables;
• Developing and reviewing 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications;
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (such as Class & Flag);
• Collaborating with other engineering disciplines for integrated technical solutions;
• Acting as a technical expert and mentor for (junior/senior) engineers;
• Coordinating with external stakeholders, including the Owner’s team;
• Driving process improvements and technical innovation within the yachtbuilding process.

• Salary ranging from €4500 to €6000, depending on your experience.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in ship- or yachtbuilding;
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams;
• Proficiency with 3D AutoCAD, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic;
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written;
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences;
• Knowledge of exterior engineering, moving equipment, and equipment integration;
• Understanding of cable and panel planning, onboard systems, and budgeting;
• Deep technical insight into yachtbuilding, construction, and production processes;
• An analytical mindset with a high standard for quality and results.
