Senior Specialist Engineer

For Feadship, we are looking for talented and passionate Engineers to strengthen their Specialist Engineering team. As an Engineer, you will be jointly responsible for the coordinated, high-quality, and timely development of the final design of our prestigious Feadship yachts.

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and timely engineering solutions for our luxury yacht projects. You will play a guiding role within your team, ensuring seamless collaboration across disciplines while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. Your expertise will directly influence the manufacturability, feasibility, and compliance of our yachts.

• Oversee the final design, detailed engineering, and 3D modeling to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Guide and mentor a team of engineers and apprentices, providing technical direction, inspections, and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, classification societies, and flag state requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain engineering quality by reviewing drawings and documentation before submission.
• Assist in developing and improving engineering standards, methodologies, and innovation.
• Coordinate with Production, Subcontractors, and Suppliers to align on technical requirements and feasibility.

• Salary ranging from €3500 to €5500, depending on your experience.

• A Bachelor education in Interior Design or related study.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as an Engineer in Shipbuilding.
• Relevant knowledge 3D Cad systems and Product Life Cycle Management (PLM).
• Good command of the English language (verbal and written).
• Knowledge from and experience with hull engineering, exterior engineering, moving equipment and equipment integration.
• Insight into systems on board and weight and budgeting.
• Deep technical insight into yacht building and production and construction processes.
• You’re analytical by nature and have a high standard when it comes to delivering quality and results.
